There are three main exhibition centres - Bologna, Rimini and Parma - out of a total of 9. The trade fairs calendar spans from the automotive to the building sector, from the biomedical to the food industry, from mechanical engineering to leisure time and tourism, also organizing trade fairs abroad).

Internationalization, trade, external relations: the Emilia-Romagna economy is proud of its long tradition of being open to the world. The regional internationalization and attractiveness programme “EMILIA-ROMAGNA GO GLOBAL 2021-25” aims to expand the regional relations at international level in the fields of innovation and education in health, digital, green and creative industries.
Active participation to large events and international trade fairs also abroad is part of this strategy that implies a strong coordination with the national institutions and the local territories.

On April 8th and 9th, Emilia-Romagna region has been present at Selecting Italy 2024 in Trieste with its desk to meet investors, stakeholders and institutions. The event was focused on attraction of foreign investments and regional value chains.
