On 25 September, FEV Italia inaugurated new offices in Casalecchio di Reno in the Bologna area, a centre of excellence with laboratories and engineers highly specialised in the automotive and sustainable mobility sectors. This local unit is in addition to the one already present in Bologna at the University of Bologna and will have an international relevance by leveraging the group's global experience, providing support to local customers.
FEV specifies the reasons for this choice of increasing integration in the Emilia-Romagna context. The presence of the regional Motor Valley continues to be a central factor of attraction and represents not only an industrial hub but also a center of excellence for training and skills development. The regional automotive sector is in fact part of a virtuous ecosystem which, thanks to its universities, offers specialized courses in automotive engineering, allowing the training of engineers of the highest level and with direct collaboration with companies. FEV Group's investment in Italy is also linked to the birth of the new FEV.io brand dedicated to the world of smart mobility and software in response to the challenges posed by the ecological transition.
