Emilia-Romagna was present at Mipim 2025 in Cannes with its own stand and a delegation of about 40 people involving representatives of local territories. This strategy emphasizes the high level of integration between the regional and local levels in promoting the real estate investment opportunities. The initiative has been promoted and coordinated by Invest in Emilia-Romagna, managed by ART-ER on behalf of the Regional Government.
During the event, the delegation had about 30 B2B (Busines-to-Business) meetings with investors and developers, promoting regional projects, including DAMA Technopole Data Maufacturing Emilia-Romagna and the Tek District in Bologna, Reggiane Innovation Park in Reggio Emilia, industrial areas in Modena, “Reinventing hospitality from university to tourism” in Piacenza, Ravenna Hub “Darsena di Città”, Urban Regeneration in Parma, Italian Wellness Factory in Rimini, housing in via Boschetto and via Mayr in Ferrara, the Forlì Airport, Novello District in Cesena, and many other projects.
The Emilia-Romagna workshop "Strategic Technologies and infrastructures for innovation" – held at Mipim in the Invest in Italy arena - has been an opportunity to present some regional flagship projects that include innovation parks, investments within the regional ZLS (Simplified Logistics Zone), projects for student and affordable housing. Among the regional authorities present, the Vice President of the Emilia-Romagna Region Vincenzo Colla and various other institutions including mayors and councilors representing the territory.
