0/04/2022 - Ferrari, top brand of the Emilia-Romagna Motor Valley, is going to invest about 500 million euros, creating 250 new jobs in the 2022-25 period. The investment is supported by a Memorandum of Understanding signed in March with the national and regional governments
The company will open a new plant in Maranello (Modena) aimed to the electrification of the vehicles and with several R&D projects of new technologies and components for new propulsion systems with low environmental impact, equipped with new digital and connectivity solutions.
The investment will be supported by the national Ministry of Economic Development (MISE), the Emilia-Romagna Region and the national Agency for attraction of investments and business development. The amount of the grant provided by the Ministry could reach up to 106 million euros. In addition, Emilia-Romagna Region will support the investment as well, also through the opportunities provided by the Regional Law 14/2014 for the promotion of investments.
