Emilia-Romagna ranks among the top large regions, according to the report “European cities and regions of the future 2024” released by the Financial Times division “FDI Intelligence”.
The region ranks 21st in the overall report including 121 states, provinces and sub-national regions of Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the USA
Among the objectives of the mission, there were also the promotion of foreign investments and the internationalization of regional companies.
Published the new data dashboard that provides an immediate picture of the main sectoral specializations of the selected territory.
The region focuses on green hydrogen and will be in Frankfurt am Main on 6 July to present its projects and start new partnerships

Published the results of the last call for proposal of the Regional Law for the Promotion of Investments: 9 new investment programs creating 283 jobs. In 7 years, the policy has directly supported the creation of 3,238 new jobs.
“ATTRACTION OF INVESTMENTS IN EMILIA-ROMAGNA”, the sixth call to enter into Agreements for the Settlement and Development of Enterprises is online. 13.2 million euros of resources for investments with high impact on employment and R&D. Applications can be submitted from July 20, 2021. The deadline is the 14th of October 2022 (12am).
FDI Intelligence, the Financial Times foreign investment specialist division, published the "European Cities & Regions of the Future 2022/23" report on the attractiveness of cities and regions in Europe.
The Regional Innovation Scoreboard 2021 elaborated by the EU Commission confirms the performance of the region as a “strong” European Innovator.
