On April 8th and 9th, Emilia-Romagna region has been present at Selecting Italy 2024 in Trieste with its desk to meet investors, stakeholders and institutions. The regional team included the Emilia-Romagna Region and ART-ER, with the active support of the Invest in Emilia-Romagna contact point.
The initiative was focused on attraction of foreign investments and regional value chains. The event has been organised by the Conferenza Autonoma delle Regioni and Friuli Venezia Giulia Region with the active support of Emilia-Romagna and other regions, which contributed to the definition, management and implementation of the round tables and sectoral workshops, that focused on supercomputing, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, good health / life sciences, innovative businesses and talents, climate-energy sustainability.
Emilia-Romagna region coordinated with other regions:
- The round table on "Supercomputing for investment attraction" with the participation of CINECA
- The workshop on "Advanced manufacturing: complementary and integrated territorial #ecosystems to meet the challenge of innovation"
Selecting Italy 2024 focused on USA and Japan as strategic country for FDI attraction dedicating a round table to each country with the participation of companies as Hewlett-Packard and Hitachi.
