The region ranks 21st in the overall report including 121 states, provinces and sub-national regions of Austria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the USA
The Regional Innovation Scoreboard 2023 elaborated by the European Commission confirms Emilia-Romagna as “strong innovator” with the highest ranking in Italy.
