The 18th edition is dedicated to skills and talents. Attractiveness of talents and investments will be one of the topics of the event

The new UNU location will focus on Big Data and Climate Change and will be hosted at the Bologna Technopole together with the Leonardo supercomputer, the ECMWF data centre and many other organizations.

Published the results of the last call for proposal of the Regional Law for the Promotion of Investments: 9 new investment programs creating 283 jobs. In 7 years, the policy has directly supported the creation of 3,238 new jobs.

The new ECMWF data centre opens on the site of the Tecnopolo di Bologna and represents a key asset of the regional Data Valley.

“Bologna: Start Planning Your Future” is a new video project aimed to promote the metropolitan area of Bologna as ideal destination for young talents (students, qualified workers, researchers, start-ups). 8 graduates tell the reasons of their choice to build their own future in this territory.

The Regional Innovation Scoreboard 2021 elaborated by the EU Commission confirms the performance of the region as a “strong” European Innovator.

Emilia-Romagna has been present at Expo Dubai with its Regional Day focused on Data Valley and with a mission involving top actors of its advanced mechanical engineering cluster: Clust-ER MECH and Digital District Reggio Emilia, along with the Regional Government and its agency for investment promotion ART-ER.

“ATTRACTION OF INVESTMENTS IN EMILIA-ROMAGNA”, the sixth call to enter into Agreements for the Settlement and Development of Enterprises is online. 13.2 million euros of resources for investments with high impact on employment and R&D. Applications can be submitted from July 20, 2021. The deadline is the 14th of October 2022 (12am).
